MountainRVGuy Posted September 28, 2026 — 11:18 AM I just won an RV auction through J T’s Motors and wanted to ask some of the dealers and RV buyers here about the payment process. I won a 2022 Grand Design Solitude 390RK, and after the auction closed I received the invoice. I noticed that the payment instructions list Auto Regent Automotive LLC / Bank of America rather than the J T’s Motors name I had been dealing with. The auction company information I have is: J T’s Motors 125 N Ashby Ave Chanute, KS 66720 (620) 203-5255 or (620) 431-6599 JTAutoBid.com Has anyone here actually purchased an RV through J T’s Motors and had the invoice Auto Regent Automotive LLC / Bank of America as the payment account? If so, did you send the payment to the account shown on the invoice, and did everything go through normally? Quote
DieselPusherMike Posted September 28, 2026 — 11:31 AM Yes, I’ve purchased an RV through the platform. My purchase was a 2021 Keystone Montana 3120RL, and the invoice I received also listed Auto Regent Automotive LLC / Bank of America as the payment account. In the scenario of my purchase, I paid using the account specified on the current invoice and the transaction proceeded normally. I’d still recommend confirming the current invoice and payment instructions directly with J T’s Motors before sending the funds, especially for a larger RV purchase. Quote
RVTrailRunner Posted September 28, 2026 — 11:44 AM I had a similar experience. I purchased a 2020 Forest River Georgetown 5 Series 34M through the platform. My invoice also contained the payment information for Auto Regent Automotive LLC / Bank of America. I followed the payment instructions on the invoice after confirming the details with the auction company. I also reviewed the vehicle documentation before finalizing the purchase. The important thing is to make sure you’re using the current invoice and that the vehicle documentation corresponds to the RV you’re purchasing. Quote
MountainRVGuy Posted September 28, 2026 — 11:58 AM That’s exactly what I wanted to know. My invoice is for the 2022 Grand Design Solitude 390RK, and it lists the same Auto Regent Automotive LLC / Bank of America payment information. Since both of you have purchased RVs and received invoices with the same payment arrangement, that’s reassuring. I’ll contact J T’s Motors and verify the payment instructions before I complete the transaction. Quote
DieselPusherMike Posted September 28, 2026 — 12:12 PM That’s the right approach. In my purchase, the payment went to the account identified on the transaction invoice and everything was handled according to the auction paperwork. For a substantial payment, I would always verify the beneficiary name, bank details, invoice number, CARFAX report, vehicle details and total amount with the auction company before initiating the transfer. RVTrailRunner Posted September 28, 2026 — 12:25 PM Same advice from me. The 2020 Forest River Georgetown 5 Series 34M transaction I mentioned used the payment information shown on the invoice, and I reviewed the available vehicle documentation before completing the purchase. I wouldn’t rely solely on another buyer’s experience, though. Banking instructions should always be verified for the specific transaction and current invoice. Quote
MountainRVGuy Posted September 28, 2026 — 12:39 PM Appreciate the replies. I’ll contact JTAutoBid.com directly and confirm that the Auto Regent Automotive LLC / Bank of America account shown on my invoice is the correct payment destination for my 2022 Grand Design Solitude 390RK. I’ll also verify the invoice number, vehicle details and total amount before making the transfer. That seems like the sensible way to handle a large auction payment. Quote
